Our Story
Built on patience, not spectacle
Antiagevita began with a simple question: what if fitness felt less like a performance and more like a daily conversation with your body?
The beginning in Kelburn
In 2019, a modest room on Upland Road became a testing ground for movement sessions that prioritised presence over pace. Early participants were neighbours, colleagues, and friends from across Wellington who wanted structure without the noise of mainstream gym culture.
We stripped away countdown timers and leaderboard mentality. Instead, we introduced repeatable sequences, clear cues, and space for people to pause when something did not feel quite right.

Everyday movement for all
We continue refining our approach, guided by member feedback and a commitment to accessible, thoughtful practice.
What guides us now
We believe movement should weave into life — not compete with it. Our instructors train in cueing clarity, adaptive progressions, and creating environments where questions are welcome.
We do not promise overnight change. We offer structure, guidance, and a community that values showing up consistently over showing off.
